Northern Iron Corp.

Re-starting a past producing iron-ore mine and forging a future built on hot briqueted iron

Northern Iron Corp. (NFE.V) is a Canadian junior exploration company publicly traded on the Venture Exchange.  The company is focused on developing high quality iron ore opportunities in the Red Lake Mining Division of Ontario, Canada in order to produce merchant Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) for the export market.

HBI is a value added ore based metallic product with guaranteed specifications that is used as a  supplement to scrap in the steel making process.

The use of HBI allows steelmakers with Electric Arc Furnaces to produce grades of steel not possible with scrap charges alone.
